WHAT IS MINIMA CARE?

Minima Care is a warranty program that offers protection against accidental damage of Minima™ Ultra-Mini Digital Cameras. We will provide repair or replacement product depending on your damage situation. Applying a warranty to the purchased product is only available at the time of purchase. 

 

THE WARRANTY

Our warranty obligations for the Minima™ Ultra-Mini Digital Camera(s) you have purchased (the “Product”) are limited to the terms set forth on this page. We warrant the Product against accidental damage (screen cracks, water damage, etc.) for a period of 1 year from the date of original purchase (“Warranty Period”). Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser and the country in which the product was purchased. If a damage happens and a valid claim is received by us within the Warranty Period, at its option, we will repair the Product or exchange the Product with a functionally equivalent new product. 

 

CONSUMER PROTECTION

For consumers who have the benefit of consumer protection laws or regulations in their country of purchase or, if different, their country of residence, that cannot be disclaimed as set forth above, the benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies conveyed by such consumer laws. To the extent that liability under such consumer laws may be limited, our liability is limited, at its sole option, to replacement or repair of the product.

 

REMEDIES

Our entire liability and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, at our option, (1) to repair or replace the hardware, or (2) to refund the price paid, provided that a claim is made to us with a copy of the sales receipt or dated itemized receipt. We may, at its option, replace your product, offer to provide a functionally equivalent product, or repair any product with new, refurbished or used parts as long as such parts are in compliance with the product’s technical specifications. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or 30 days, whichever is longer, or for any additional period of time that may be applicable in your jurisdiction. This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from (1) abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly; (2) improper operation or maintenance, usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to improper voltage supply; (3) use of consumables, such as replacement batteries, not supplied by us except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law; (4) lost parts that were originally supplied with the hardware product; (5) 3rd-party parts and accessories not purchased from us; or (6) normal wear and tear. This limited warranty does not, under any circumstances, cover the replacement of or reimbursement for any electronic device or personal property that is not a Minima product. This warranty also does not cover products used by businesses for the purpose of providing end users with a fee.
